The cuisine
The Restaurant, run by our Chef Guido Haverkock and his crew, offers cuisine made with the best ingredients Tuscany has to offer according to the season.
Our One Belvedere Farm, less than 3 km away, provides us with fruit, vegetable and extra virgin olive oil (EVO) derived from regenerative agriculture. The rest of our products are sourced from carefully selected Tuscan producers.
As much as possible, we produce our own staples, such as bacon, vinegar, mustard, and bread —among others.
Menu suggestions
Our two menu suggestions, the surprise one, Hic et nunc, and the Vegan and/or Vegetarian one, encapsulate how preparing the food, and the team attending to it, is rooted in the uniqueness of the moment.
To ensure better service, we kindly inform you that starting from 5 persons we either serve the two tasting menus for the whole table, or the “à la carte” selection of two different dishes per course for all diners.
For the best dining experience, we highly recommend the Tasting Menu.
The Surprise Menu is designed for those who have no dietary restrictions and are willing to put their trust in our Chef for a “Here and Now” experience.
Our suggestion includes six courses and ends with a selection of cheese or a dessert of your choice.
The Tasting Menu is available exclusively for the entire table at the price of € 90 per person.
We will gladly pair a glass of wine with each course on the menu at a price of € 40 per person.
We also offer a selection of surprise alcoholic beverages at a price of € 40 per person.
The vegan menu can also be served vegetarian.
The 5-course menu is available exclusively for the entire table at a price of € 65 per person.
We will gladly pair a glass of organic or natural wine with each course on the menu at a price of € 35 per person.

The selection of wines follows the line of the cuisine by proposing Italian companies with a focus on the Tuscan territory including small organic and biological realities carefully selected by our Sommelier.
The wine menù was created thinking about what a wine leaves us: an emotion, a territory, a memory.
Our research is based on the choice of national wines, with a close link with the terroir, climate and grape variety.
Every year during the winter period we go to find the producers personally, visiting the cellars, their vineyards and tasting the wine produced on site.
The research, the tasting and the discovery of new products are our winning card to have an always updated wine list, with new proposals and with a careful selection of organic and/or biodynamic wines.

The inner hall
The small internal room is furnished by enhancing the eternal contrast between black and white. The sophisticated and refined atmosphere is perfect for an intimate autumn dinner.
The lighted fireplace spreads a pleasant warmth and the crackling of the fire makes dinner even more pleasant.

Tavola di Guido is located inside Locanda Le Piazze, eco boutique hotel surrounded by the fragrant Chianti Classico vineyards and green olive groves of Castellina in Chianti, in the most iconic sunny lands of Tuscany.
Dating back to 1540, the peasant farmstead’s careful renovation has brought the present-day boutique hotel to life while maintaining the property’s exceptional and authentic historic charm.
In this harmonious environment, the panoramic swimming pool is equipped with shady gazebos for guests to relax.
